Il territorio comunale di Quarrata ospita le due aree naturali protette La Querciola” e “Bosco La Magia” che nella piana Pistoia-Prato-Firenze rappresentanoisole relitte di zone umide, boschi ed incolti scampate alla cementificazione e alle trasformazioni agricole.

In queste pagine il visitatore potrà trovare una cartografia dettagliata delle due aree con indicazioni sui percorsi e sui sentieri-natura, le modalità di visita e le norme di comportamento, oltre ad informazioni ed immagini su flora e fauna caratteristiche.

The Quarrata municipal area is home to thetwo protected natural areas “La Querciola” and Bosco La Magia” that in Pistoia-Prato-Florence plain represent relict islands of wetlands, forests and uncultivated escaped to overbuilding and agricultural transformations.
